Working Together
Take Heart Yoga Therapy is here to support you whether you’re looking for private sessions, a small group series, or a workshop for your organization.
Individual Private Sessions
Private sessions are shaped around what matters most to you. Our first session will include a thorough intake assessment and conversation allowing us to get to know each other, to identify your primary goals, and to address any initial questions or concerns you may have.
I will then offer practices I believe will best serve your goals and we explore them together with lots of space for dialogue and feedback. You have choice and a voice in everything we do. Practices can be modified, paused or stopped at any time.
I work with teens and their families, adults and elders.
I've worked with long time yogis, complete beginners, and folks with varying health histories and accessibility needs.
All-abilities are welcome.
Benefits of a private session:
1:1 attentionand focus on evidence-based practices which target your specific goals for well-being, tailored to work for you not just during our session but in your daily life
Practices that evolve with you as you develop and grow towards your goals
Individualized session summaries and instructions for home practice
Psychoeducation resources specific to our collaboration and your goals
I can collaborate with other members of your medical team if you wish (family doctors, social workers, psychotherapists, etc.) for a multidisciplinary comprehensive approach
Whether you are experiencing trauma responses, difficult emotional patterns, or are feeling relentlessly overwhelmed and exhausted:
We’re here to work through those challenges right alongside you.
